Collagen Hot Chocolate

This nourishing cacao drink is the perfect balance of indulgence and wellness! The combination of coconut or almond mylk with raw cacao and collagen creates a naturally chocolate-y yet gut-friendly treat.

Raw cacao contains antioxidants and magnesium, adding both depth of flavour and nutritional value. The collagen powder adds incredible health benefits by providing amino acids that help support gut lining health and act as building blocks for protein.

Lightly sweetened with honey and gently warmed, this cozy drink feels like a dessert while still offering ingredients that support overall gut health.


Ingredients

  • 250mL coconut or almond mylk

  • 3 tbl collagen powder

  • 2 tbl raw cacao powder

  • 2 tbl honey

  • 50mL hot water

TIME: 5 mins // SERVES: 1 adult

Heat or froth the mylk in your desired way.

Whilst the mylk is heating, mix the raw cacao powder, honey and hot water into a syrup.

Once the mylk has started warming, add the collagen powder. Then once it has become warm, add the chocolate syrup into the mylk . Combine all ingredients together well.

Top with a sprinkle of cacao.
